Louis is an experienced renewable energy project finance professional who has spent the past seven years working for industry leading developers including Cypress Creek Renewables and Renewable Properties.
Louis began his career as a financial analyst with Cypress Creek Renewables managing project finance executions for portfolios of distributed generation assets in the Carolinas and utility scale projects nationwide. At CCR, Louis was a key member of the deal team that closed a structured sale of a 366 MW portfolio of solar projects to Cubico Sustainable Investments, a deal that was named the 2020 IJGlobal Portfolio Deal of the Year.
Louis then worked for Renewable Properties where he was responsible for originating, structuring, and executing on project finance transactions to support the development and construction of community solar projects nationwide. At Renewable Properties, Louis helped grow the firm from <10M in financing a year to >50M a year which supported the development and construction of over 50 MW of solar projects nationwide. Since mid 2023, Louis has operated full time as an independent advisor supporting stakeholders in the Renewable Energy industry with various financial and strategic matters.
Louis has deep experience in renewable energy project finance execution, valuation, and strategy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Studies from Colby College
